Pure Casino Lethbridge:  Bargaining survey results are in!

Your negotiating team met on August 23 to prepare for bargaining.

Your responses to our bargaining survey were critical in our preparations. Thank you to all who took the time to fill out the survey to make your voices heard. Knowing your priorities sets the direction for negotiations and tells us what to fight for.

Your feedback was clear. Four priorities stood out:

• Wage increases
• Extended health benefits
• Provisions for sick leave
• Protections against unfair discipline

Though we will focus on these priorities, we know that a first collective agreement establishes a foundation for all our working conditions. We will take a broad approach and address as many issues as we can.

Your team will meet again on September 6 and 21 to review and complete our draft proposals. We are looking to hold member meetings in October and November to discuss our proposals and the bargaining process. We will meet the employer to exchange our ingoing proposals in mid-December.
