Portage College: Your team makes good progress in bargaining

Your team met with the employer on July 23 and 24 for bargaining. We are making good progress and signed off on 8 Articles during these meetings.

We also have verbal agreement to change 3 more Articles, but those changes are not yet signed off in writing. We will share those changes when they are finalized.

Your team discussed several additional Articles and are waiting for the employer to get back to us on several more.

Overall, we are very happy with our progress and expect to begin bargaining for wages, benefits, and other monetary proposals when we meet in October.

In anticipation of monetary discussions, we want to touch base with you about our priorities by sending out a survey in mid-September.  Please make sure your personal email is updated with AUPE so that we can ensure you get that important survey!
