Town of Ponoka: We make our raise and benefits offer

Your negotiating team met the employer on July 4 to continue bargaining. We exchanged our proposals for wages and benefits.  

There are some areas where we think we can meet in the middle, but there are also some big differences between our proposals and our employer’s. We are committed to fighting for the raises and benefits we deserve despite the employer’s disappointing offer.  

Negotiations continue July 9 and 10. We will update you again soon after those dates.
