Town of Coaldale: Your team made a counteroffer to end the lockout

As of today, your bargaining committee has decided to present a counteroffer to the Town of Coaldale in an effort to resolve the current impasse that has placed considerable pressure on our members and the community. We are hopeful that the council will address this matter promptly, allowing you to vote on a tentative agreement and ultimately ending the lockout.

We understand that the Town Council is approaching elections; however, it is crucial that the current council addresses this issue without deferral. You are facing significant challenges due to the lockout, and we believe that this counteroffer represents a constructive step toward a fair resolution.
