Seasons Retirement Communities Wetaskiwin: Employer doesn’t even show up

Your negotiating team was ready to return to the table and keep fighting for improved wages and working conditions on October 29. The employer didn’t show up. 

We were expecting a response to our counter proposal, but that response never came. They didn’t even sign the Articles we agreed on in August 2024.

We know we deserve better and are taking the next step. We have filed for formal mediation. 

We will continue negotiations with the support of an impartial mediator. They will help guide discussions at the table. The mediator may also provide recommendations based on their observations of our negotiations.

Once we have selected a mediator, we will schedule dates to meet with them and the employer. We will continue to keep you updated as matters progress.
