Bargaining update for Local 047 Chapter 024, Salem Manor Society

Your negotiating team met the employer on December 1 to continue bargaining.
We focused on Article 16 – Hours of Work. The employer wants to remove priority for seniority for call-in shifts. We are strongly opposed to this change. We responded with a proposal that ensures strict timelines to maintain seniority and ensure full staffing.
We will hear the employer’s response when we meet again on March 31 and April 1.
