Golden Life Evanston: We’ll present monetary proposals next month

Your negotiating team is working on our monetary proposals, which we will present to the employer when we next meet on Jan. 28 and 29, 2026.

We are closely reviewing recent settlements with Alberta Health Services (AHS) nursing-care workers and with Government of Alberta (GOA) employees. These are establishing a pattern of wage increases across the province.

AUPE’s research department is analysing wage grids to ensure that our proposals align with these emerging trends.

We will be meeting on Jan. 26 to refine our strategy on monetary issues in preparation for our meeting with the employer.
