Covenant Health NC: Covenant Health invited to return to bargaining

Bargaining update for Local 040 and Local 046, Covenant Health - Nursing Care

Jul 22, 2025

Text only block

Your negotiating team has formally invited Covenant Health to come back to the bargaining table to continue negotiating our collective agreement.

We believe we can reach a fair settlement with the employer that respects our vital contributions to the healthcare system—without the help of a mediator. We know a negotiated collective agreement is what is best for us and Alberta’s healthcare system. Your negotiating team will continue to fight for the wages and benefits we deserve.

We will update you when the employer responds to our offer to continue bargaining.

Show your solidarity

We need your support and solidarity now more than ever. Wear red when you participate in union events at your worksite and take selfies or group pictures to show your support. Email your selfies to photos@aupe.org—we will use them on social media to spread solidarity.

MyAUPE

Make sure your coworkers create a MyAUPE account. A MyAUPE account is crucial for participating in any future contract votes and strike votes, as well as to receive strike pay.

Please contact a member of your negotiating team if you have any questions.
