AHS GSS: Update from the first two days of mediation

Your negotiating team met with AHS and our mediator, Mark Asbell, on October 8 and 9 for bargaining.

The first day of mediation was productive. We made some small improvements to our total compensation, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Unfortunately, the second day of mediation was not as productive. At this point, the employer said they need to cost our proposals before responding to them.

Your team is focused on your priorities. You gave us a mandate for this round of bargaining, and we will continue to fight for you.

We have scheduled additional dates to meet with AHS and our mediator.

Our next meetings are October 27 and 31, and then November 1, 2, and 5. Keep wearing red to show your solidarity, especially on these dates!
