Venta Care General Support Services: Bargaining begins 

Your negotiating team met the employer on May 14 to begin bargaining. We shared proposals for everything except raises and benefits. We will save those proposals for the last stages of bargaining.

Your team is ready to make our collective agreement better. Our proposals include improving the RRSP payment process, improving selection criteria for internal job applications, improving the probationary period process, and improving Occupational Health and Safety standards.  

Venta Care made only two proposals, however, regarding sick leave accrual for part-time employees and the RRSP payment process.

Our next bargaining meetings are June 18. Wear red at work, especially on June 18, to show your solidarity!
