Strathcona County: Team ready to bargain for wages and benefits

Your negotiating team met the employer on May 8 and 9 to continue bargaining.  

We made quick progress and signed off seven articles during these meetings. We are discussing four more non-monetary articles at our next meeting and are confident we can wrap them up quickly.  

We are eager to move on to negotiating wages and benefits. Your team is committed to winning the improvements we deserve and that keep up with the skyrocketing cost of living. We have told the employer that we are ready to begin these negotiations.

The employer said they will share their offer with us at our next bargaining meetings on August 27 and 28. We are hopeful that they will deliver on that commitment.
