SPAN: Employers proposal falls short

Your negotiating team met with the employer on November 22 to continue bargaining on monetary items. We received a full package from the employer, which unfortunately contained proposals that offer either no improvement above employment standards or rollbacks to current entitlements.  

Our committee prepared a full response, and made it clear to the employer that we aren’t here to negotiate employment standards or takeaways.  We are now awaiting another package from the employer with a more realistic offer. We plan to meet with the employer again in December.
