AHS Nursing Care: Vote online from 0830 Wednesday to 1630 Friday

All AHS Nursing Care members, including those working for the new pillars, Lamont Health Care Centre, and Allen Gray Continuing Care, are voting to ratify a tentative agreement.

Members are voting as a single bargaining unit. Upon further legal review, our vote results will not be divided between AHS and the pillars, as previously thought.

Simply put: if the majority of members vote YES to ratify the agreement, then all members will have an agreement. There would be no unique agreements or possible strikes for each employer.

Only Lamont Health Care Centre and Allen Grey Continuing Care are voting as individual units.

From the town halls: our lead negotiator’s summary of the agreement

Lead negotiator Kate Robinson gave a detailed summary of our tentative agreement at both of our Tuesday town halls.

Vote details

Our ratification vote begins at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 26 and ends at 4:30 p.m. (1630) on Friday, November 28.

Members can vote online by logging in to their MyAUPE accounts.

Please review your draft tentative agreement and wage grid before you vote.

Members can also log in to their MyAUPE account to access the Wage Estimator Tool. Use the tool to help calculate what your new wage would be and estimate your retro pay if we ratify this tentative agreement.
