AHS Nursing Care: AHS invites us back to mediation

Our strike is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 22.

After we served strike notice, AHS invited us back to the bargaining table for more mediation. Your team accepted this invitation, and we are eager to see the employer’s new offer.

There are no guarantees here. We would love to reach an agreement at the table, but we will also not accept an offer that does not meet your needs. If the employer’s new offer is not satisfactory, we will go on strike as planned.

Your team will share an update from mediation as soon as possible. Please spread the news to your coworkers and ensure you have created a MyAUPE account and uploaded your direct deposit information for strike pay.

Get strike pay quickly

The quickest and easiest way to receive strike pay is to create a MyAUPE account and then upload your direct deposit information.

Create an account at www.aupe.org/MyAUPE

Once you log in to your account, you can visit aupe.org/form/strike-pay-direct-deposit to submit your account information. You can also select “Banking Information” or “Strike Pay Cheque Processing” to upload a void cheque or submit your information manually.
