Good Sam Society: Southgate Centre staff urged to join Feb. 21 meeting

AUPE members working at the Good Samaritan Society’s Southgate Care Centre were informed that AHS would be cutting its funding to beds at the site, which would also result in staff layoffs.

We recognize this is difficult news to receive but we need to make sure all members have a say in how we move forward.

To discuss next steps, we will be holding Zoom meetings on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, to make sure Southgate Centre members can review the options presented by the employer and ask questions.

There are three options for meeting times, please plan to attend:

9 AM to 10:30 AM
12:30 PM to 2 PM 
7 PM to 8:30 PM
